 SPL: Hearts v Rangers Preview
Admin (Mon-Pari-Sportif.com) - As the Scottish campaign continues, points become more important for the big two, and let’s be honest, one can’t expect Rangers and Celtic to drop many points against non-Old-Firm teams for the remainder of the season. As the title will probably be played on the last three Old firm derbies, I fully expect Rangers and Celtic to perform to their maximum until then, and that starts tonight against Hearts for Walter Smith’s Bears. The Scot’s got almost full squad to pick from, although Brahim Hemdani and Lee McCulloch are still doubtful, and expect the Blues to seal their tenth successive league win tonight at Tynecastle. The last Tynecatsle encounter between the two sides ended in an unexpected 4-2 win to the Edinburgh side, and no doubt Rangers will be keen to start the game in a better fashion, having endured a dreadful and crucial first half last time round. Hearts’ leading scorer Andrius Velicka has joined Norwegian side Viking Stavanger, and Midfielders Michael Stewart, Laryea Kingston and Andy Driver are all uncertain for tonight’s game. Verdict: no mistake from the in-form Rangers. Asian Handicap -1.0 @ 2.16 is appealing.
