 Liverpool and PSV away from home

Danny Guthrie can’t play against the Reds, but Bolton is otherwise at full strength, while Jamie Carragher returns from suspension for the visitors. Verdict: Bolton are short of striking force since Anelka left to join Chelsea, and I don’t think they will be up to the task today against a Liverpool and his frustrated skipper Gerrard seeking nothing but 3 point. Torres is the man to watch I reckon.
FC Utrecht v PSV
In 29 Utrecht v PSV head-to-heads, the Eindhoven giants have won 23, and drawn 6. That probably tells you how much Utrecht would like to seal a win against the favoruites today. However things look bad for the hosts of today’s game. They sit 10th in the Eredivisie table, but are on a free fall, having endured 3 successive defeats against NAC (1-0), 16th VVV Venlo (1-4) and 14th-placed Sparta Rotterdam (2-1). Meanwhile, the defending champions are flying high at the top of the rankings with 18 wins in 26 games, they are actually undefeated since December 26th, and looking forward to a Tottenham Spurs meeting in the UEFA Cup next week. Verdict: Sam old same old, with PSV sealing a confidence-boosting win ahead of their trip to London next week. Final thoughts: Nice double @ 3.16. More than tempting.
