Well, I actually watched them against Benfica last weekend (the famous 2-2 which did cost the head of Camacho at the helm of the Portuguese big guns), and I tell you what, they looked nothing like a poor side. Paulo César, and striker Serge N’Gal (from Cameroon) scored two magnificent goals against the league runners-up and the African player showed all his skills with a brilliant shot on the cross-bar which could have made the difference earlier on. I am going for a reborn confidence and a Leiria side who takes the glory of last weekend onto this Friday’s encounter against Guimaraes. The visitors are having a great season, but look short of attacking options (only 25 goals scored this term vs 18 for Leiria). Verdict: If Leiria can break the Guimaraes defense, they could hold on to a second consecutive positive result.
@ 4.20, it would be stupid not to tempt a small stake.
