Borussia M'gladbach v Mainz Preview

Borussia have yet to lose a game at home, having managed 5 wins and 4 draws on their soil, mainly thanks to an impressive attacking system. Manager Jos Luhukay can indeed count on Friend (10 goals), Neuville (8) and Rösler (7) to terrorise their opponents’ defence and keep their side at the best attack of the league with 39 efforts.

The same Sascha Rösler will make his way back to midfield, and Luhukay will also be counting on the return of Marcel Ndjeng (flu), Steve Gohouri (back from the CAN), and Roel Brouwers (injury).

The hosts will be motivated for this one, having already lost a handful of points against lowly SC Paderborn and Kaiserslautern (both 1-1 at home), and lost 4-2 away to 7th-placed TSG Hoffenheim.

Verdict: Boruussia have not won at home since November 23rd, and a third setback on their soil would be more than disturbin for a club that chases promotion.
